Libretto: A Lecture-Performance by Sebseonbi

On the evening of the closing date, DadBoyClub will host a performance by Sebseonbi (Seb Choe). In the spirit of Barthes, Sebseonbi’s <Libretto> engages with DadBoyClub’s <S/Z> exhibition by fusing a fragmented lecture and semi-improvised music, traversing noise, sound, pop, and text to prompt questions concerning gender and sexuality. As a bard-like figure, Sebseonbi will use critical, poetic, naive, and absurd tangents to consider themes of beauty, gender, and violence in our past, present, and future.
